Unexpected Beauty
Nearsighted Globe understands that when discussing the importance of vision we are often compelled to highlight issues such as access to education, employment, and the ability to fulfill necessary live chores. Often left out of the equation is the possibility for visual encounters with Unexpected Beauty!
Nearsighted Globe (NG) invites the celebration of Unexpected Beauty; beauty that catches one by surprise in unexpected places/spaces/ways. The NG Team starts this journey, and we welcome you to submit your photo of Unexpected Beauty by emailing NG at info@nearsightedglobe.org (please include your name and any caption you would like – such as place place/space and date – in your email).

In this picture, the house on the top is an older house, probably from 1700’s or even earlier; it is surrounded by new buildings.
